Gabrielle Jiovenetta (Ms.J) is a Atlanta born traveler who comes to Hanoi from Seoul, where she lived for over 3 years teaching in a Korean Middle School. Prior to that, she taught in Guangzhou, China after recieving her MAT in English Education. Her teaching philosohy is all about students finding their own voice and building the confidence to use that voice. After teaching ELLs for five years, Gabrielle realized the power of communication and that plays a key role in her daily teaching. As a advocate for student voice, she also loves to share her own voice through writing, music, and art. On the weekends, she spends time playing guitar and writing stories. Teaching for her is just an extension of her own hobbies by sharing her love of story telling with her students.
